Run auction day
Practice, start, sell players, breaks, mistakes and the end.
The day before
- Do a practice run: in the Auctioneer Console turn on Practice Mode and run a few players. Everything done in practice is undone when you end it.
- Send every team owner their 1-click link (Links & QR Codes) and ask them to open it once on the phone they will bid from.
- Check the overlay on the screen or stream you will use (see "Overlay and viewers").
Running the auction
- Open the Auctioneer Console and press "Start Auction".
- The next player comes up by itself, or choose one with "Pick Player…".
- Team owners bid from their phones; bids appear on the console, the overlay and the viewer page at once.
- When bidding stops press "Sold". The player joins the team and the price comes off its purse. "Unsold" puts the player aside for a later round.
- A few seconds later the next player (or a planned ad) comes up by itself.
- Made a mistake? Undo the last bid, or undo the last sale; the purse is given back.
- Breaks: start a commercial break to show sponsors’ ads; bidding waits until the break ends.
- Trade window: pauses bidding while two teams swap players; press "Resume Auction" to carry on.
- Unsold players can come back in a re-auction round at the end.
If something goes wrong
- A phone lost its connection: it catches up by itself; reloading the page is always safe.
- A team owner cannot sign in: on the Teams page create a new PIN, or send their 1-click link again.
- Everything is saved as it happens, and backups are taken before big changes (Backups in the left menu). You can restore one there.
- Still stuck? Contact us from the home page; on auction days we answer fast.
At the end
- Press "End Auction". Squads and results stay on the viewer page.
- Download the results (Reports & Export) and the players’ data (Players’ data) if you need them.
- Players’ mobile numbers, emails and dates of birth are deleted automatically 30 days later.
