Terms of use

Last updated 30 September 2026

These terms apply to everyone who uses BidBash: organisers who set up auctions, auctioneers, team owners, players who register, and viewers. BidBash is run by BidBash ("we"). By using BidBash you agree to these terms.

What BidBash is

BidBash is software for running player auctions for sports leagues: registration forms, team and player lists, live bidding from phones, an auctioneer console, a streaming overlay and a viewer page. The "money" in an auction is a points purse set by the organiser. BidBash does not take part in, hold or pay any money between teams or players.

Organisers' responsibilities

Fees

Setting up an auction is free. Taking an auction live (opening registration or running the real auction) needs a paid plan for that auction, at the price shown when you pay. Prices are in Indian rupees. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.

Availability

We work hard to keep BidBash running smoothly on auction day, but it depends on the internet, phones and services we don't control. We don't promise it will never be interrupted. Test your set-up with the practice mode before the real auction.

Suspension

We may pause an auction or an organisation that breaks these terms, doesn't pay, or puts others at risk. Pausing never deletes your data, and we will tell you why.

Liability

As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, and our total responsibility for any auction is limited to what you paid us for that auction.

Changes and law

We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes go to the courts where we are registered.
